Manhattan Resident Parking Tax Exemption

Manhattan residents who own and have registered their motor vehicles to a Manhattan address, park in long term rented space and use their vehicles exclusively for personal use may be eligible for exemption from the additional New York City surtax levied on Manhattan parking space rentals. If you qualify, you will pay 10.375% instead of 18.375% tax.
